- Two-stage Griffon 65 mounted 10 in further forward on a Mk VIII-based airframe, five-blade Rotol propeller, enlarged fin. From late 1944 a rear fuselage tank; later aircraft had the E wing and a cut-down fuselage with a bubble canopy.
