Changes
Improved long-range torpedo bomber (also SM.79bis, SM.79GA, SM.579): three Alfa Romeo 128 R.C.18, ventral gondola deleted, a 1000 L tank in the bomb bay, forward gun retained. Introduced late 1942, in numbers from mid-1943; most of the ANR's torpedo bombers were of this type.
