- C.202 airframe aft of the firewall with the DB 605 (Fiat R.A.1050 R.C.58 Tifone): larger tail, redesigned cockpit hump, twin radiator, retractable tailwheel on new-build aircraft. First flight 19 April 1942, production from September 1942 until Allied bombing stopped it in May 1944. Several C.202s were rebuilt to this standard by the co-belligerent air force. The C.205N Orione prototypes are not separate records.
